Ps 78:1,4-7
1 Give ear, O my people, to my law; incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
4 We will not hide them from ... children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.
5 For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children;
6 That the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children,
7 That they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments;

Ps 34:11-15
11 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 Who is the man who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

Ps 68:3-6
3 ... let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God; yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.
4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds...
5 A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy habitation.

Ps 71:4-6
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; you are my trust from my youth.
6 By You I have been upheld from birth; you are He who took me out of my mother's womb. My praise shall be continually of You.

Ps 127:3-5
3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth.
5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them...

Ps 128:1-6
1 Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways.
2 When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.
3 Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house, your children like olive plants all around your table.
4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD.
5 The LORD bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

Ps 139:14-17
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.

1  ...a wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is the grief of his mother.

30 'But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.'
31 "And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.
32 'It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'"

Prov 3:1-12
1 My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands;
2 For length of days and long life and peace they will add to you.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart,
4 And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.

Rom 8:14-17
14 ... as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

I Jn 4:4
4 You are of God, little children, ...because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

I Jn 5:1-5
1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-- our faith.
5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
