John 7:38-39
38 "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his
heart will flow rivers of living water."
39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing
in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because
Jesus was not yet glorified.
John
14:16-29
16 (Jesus said) "I will pray the Father, and He will give you
another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because
it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells
with you and will be in you.
18 "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
19 "A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but
you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.
20 "At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you
in Me, and I in you.
21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves
Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will
love him and manifest Myself to him."
22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You
will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?"
23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will
keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to
him and make Our home with him.
24 "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word
which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.
25 "These things I have spoken to you while being present with
you.
26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send
in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance
all things that I said to you.
27 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the
world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
28 "You have heard Me say to you, 'I am going away and coming
back to you.' If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said,
'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I.
29 "And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does
come to pass, you may believe.
John
15:26-27
26 "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the
Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will
testify of Me.
27 "And you also will bear witness, because you have been with
Me from the beginning.
Matt
12:31-33
31 "Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven
men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven
men.
32 "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be
forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will
not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
33 "Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make
the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.
Mark
3:28-29
28 "Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons
of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter;
29 "but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness,
but is subject to eternal condemnaton.
1 Cor
3:16-17
16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the
Spirit of God dwells in you?
17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him.
For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
1 Cor
6:15-20
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall
I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot?
Certainly not!
16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one
body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh."
17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is
outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against
his own body.
18 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy
Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not
your own?
19 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your
body and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Cor
12:1-20
1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you
to be ignorant:
2 You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb
idols, however you were led.
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit
of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is
Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same
God who works all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for
the profit of all:
8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to
another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings
by the same Spirit,
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to
another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues,
to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing
to each one individually as He wills.
12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members
of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-- whether
Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free-- and have all been made
to drink into one Spirit.
14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.
15 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not
of the body," is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not
of the body," is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing?
If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?
18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body
just as He pleased.
19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be?
20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.
Gal
3:2-7
2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit
by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now
being made perfect by the flesh?
4 Have you suffered so many things in vain-- if indeed it was
in vain?
5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles
among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing
of faith?--
6 just as Abraham "believed God, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness."
7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of
Abraham.
Gal
4:4-6
4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His
Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive
the adoption as sons.
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His
Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
Gal
5:5
5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness
by faith.
Gal
5:16-25
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the
lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against
the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you
do not do the things that you wish.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,
fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts
of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which
I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that
those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of
God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its
passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Gal
6:7-8
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows,
that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption,
but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting
life.
Eph
3:14,16
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ,
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory,
to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner
man,
Eph
4:1-6
1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk
worthy of the calling with which you were called,
2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing
with one another in love,
3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in
one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all,
and in you all.
Eph
5:8-10
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.
Walk as children of light
9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness,
and truth),
10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
Eph
5:13-20
13 ...All things that are exposed are made manifest by the light,
for whatever makes manifest is light.
14 Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead,
and Christ will give you light."
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of
the Lord is.
18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but
be filled with the Spirit,
19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord
20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Eph
6:16-18
16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be
able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God;
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,
being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication
for all the saints--
2 Pet
1:19-21
19 We have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to
heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns
and the morning star rises in your hearts;
20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any
private interpretation,
21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of
God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
Phil
1:18-19
18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in
truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will
rejoice.
19 For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through
your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Phil
2:1-2,5
1 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort
of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and
mercy,
2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being
of one accord, of one mind.
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
1Thes
4:8
8 He who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also
given us His Holy Spirit.
1Thes
5:19
19 Do not quench the Spirit.
2 Tim
1:7
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and
of love and of a sound mind.
2 Tim
1:14
14 That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy
Spirit who dwells in us.
Titus
3:4-6
4 ...When the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man
appeared,
5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according
to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration
and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our
Savior,
I Jn
3:24
24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in
him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom
He has given us.
I Jn
4:1-6
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits,
whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone
out into the world.
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses
that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has
come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the
Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already
in the world.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because
He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world,
and the world hears them.
6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God
does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the
spirit of error.
I Jn
5:5-13
5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that
Jesus is the Son of God?
6 This is He who came by water and blood-- Jesus Christ; not only
by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears
witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father,
the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit,
the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.
9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater;
for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.
10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself;
he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has
not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.
11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son.
12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of
God does not have life.
13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name
of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,
and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of
God.
May God bless
the reading of His Word.
Heb 4:12
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than
any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and
spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.
